OUTLaws

LALSS Webmaster Associations

OUTLaws is the official student organization for two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and allied (2SLGBTQIA+) students at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where all 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals can thrive.

OUTLaws foster community, connection, and peer mentorship through social, educational, professional, and philanthropic initiatives. We provide opportunities for students to network, find support, and build strength in shared identity and solidarity, recognizing the commonalities that unite us.

Located in Toronto, a diverse city renowned for its legal excellence, OUTLaws connects students with law firms, organizations, and advocacy groups. By offering tours, events, mixers, and mentorships, we’re dedicated to supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ students as they navigate their academic and professional journeys in a city that celebrates both legal achievement and a vibrant queer community.

We also serve as a resource for 2SLGBTQIA+ students at the law school and engage the broader campus in significant dialogue about the legal status of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, the intersections of queerness and the law, and the lived experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in the legal profession.

We believe in the strength in numbers and in the power of an inclusive community to uplift one another in law school and beyond.
